Dropped in to La Gran Familia Bar Restaurant for dinner.
A karaoke party was in full swing so we were shown a table alongside the bar.
Chicken inasal, pork BBQ skewers and a satisfying side of pinakbet vegetables.
A few days in Barcelona aren’t complete without a trip or two to Fil Manila. Tucked away in a side street just of the Rambla, it’s easy to miss. But we always seek it out when in town.
After a day exploring the city and browsing the markets, we sat down to a Filipino feast.
We started with lumpia, and then ordered a large plate of crispy pata, served on the bone with a couple of dipping sauces.
We liked it so much we came back this evening.
Day trip to Girona from Barcelona. Had to stop off for a cup of rich, thick Spanish hot chocolate and a slice of chocolate and almond cake.
Fantastic
Can’t beat Nando’s chicken with spicy rice and piri piri sauce.
Amazing bowl of rich pork ramen at the Japan Centre followed by the Book of Mormon, just round the corner at the Prince of Wales Theatre.
A fantastic performance followed by a trip down Carnaby Street to see the Christmas lights.
So yeah...
